Welcome to Poestenkill Town Court's website.
Our court has jurisdiction over a broad range of matters, including vehicle and traffic, small claims, evictions, civil matters, criminal offenses, Agricultural & Market Law violations, ENCON offenses and Town Code violations.
On average, Poestenkill Town Court has presided over 200 vehicle and traffic matters ,and 50+ criminal offenses. Our court also arraigns for Troy Family Court and surrounding towns.

Court is held every Monday evening at 6:30p.m. Fines may be paid on any Monday evening.
Fines and pleas may be mailed to:

(Court staff only, are permitted to accept fines)
Fines and pleas may also be dropped off at the court office window between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
